AT&T ringtones
If you using AT&T you can download ringtones, graphics, logos, screensavers,
backgrounds, wallpapers and games using several different services.
To start with you need a compatible phone! Not all cell phones are
capable of receiving ringtones and only WAP phones support polyphonic
ringtones.
AT&T ringtones download
You can personalize your cell phone with the latest music titles,
radio hits, soundtrack themes, anthems, college cheers, rap, disco,
oldies, hip hop ringtones, movie theme hits and sound effects. You
can also add more personlaity to your phone with graphics and images,
logos, screensavers, backgrounds, wallpapers and games.
On most Samsung, Nokia, Motorola, Panasonic, Sony Ericsson and Siemens
cell phones a message will be displayed on the phone screen saying
"New ringtone/Logo received". You can then save the ringtone to your
phone (press options > Save). To activate your new AT&T ringtone locate
the profiles or options menu on your phone and select your new ringtone.
When you have selected the ringtone and have it on your cell phone
you can assign the ringtone to numbers in your adress book.
Check your phone! On some old cell phones it is possible to store
only one ringtone.
AT&T polyphonic ringtones
With cell phones that have WAP you can download polyphonic
ringtones. Polyphonic ringtones sound like real music.
The Musical Instrument Digital Interface (MIDI) enables the creation
of polyphonic ringtones with differnet sounds. Polyphonic means that
multiple tones can be played at the same time using instrument sounds
such as guitar, drums, electronic piano, etc.
AT&T ringtone services
AT&T has two ringtone service options. A standard service and
the mMode service, which has mobile data services. The standard AT&T
ringtones service is a web service and you have to log-in to it to
download the ringtones. With the AT&T mMode service you can download
polyphonic ringtones, mobile games, screensavers, backgrounds, wallpapers
and more.
AT&T ringtones payment options
AT&T ringtones paid with a credit card is usually the cheapest
way to get new ringtones. Some ringtone web sites also accept payment
by PayPal. Other options incude ordering via SMS or landline.
